Who we are
Humboldt and Table Rock United Methodist Churches are sister churches in neighboring communities. They share a pastor and a vision of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
We are called to be in joyful ministry with Jesus Christ, in mission to the world, and in fellowship with one another. As individuals we are seeking to live this in our lives with awareness and understanding. As a church, we are seeking new ways to give concrete shape to this ministry, to witness to the presence of Christ among us.
Both congregations have a long histories and rich traditions. But they are welcoming and warm. Both churches offer children’s Sunday School and adult Sunday School as well as other small group Bible studies.
Youth is a priority at both churches. Humboldt reaches out to the area youth by feeding them free lunch during the summer months. Table Rock works hard in conjunction with the elementary school at the annual “Living History Day.” Both churches support the backpack programs and church camp programs in their area. Both churches support a joint youth group for grades seven through twelve with a Wednesday night supper and hour of fellowship and Bible study.
Humboldt boasts a great choir and also hosts an area choir for an Easter cantata. Both churches sing a blend of traditional and contemporary songs.
Services at Table Rock are 9:00 a.m. worship followed by light snacks and coffee. Sunday School is at 10:15 a.m.
At Humboldt, Sunday School is first at 9:30 a.m. Sunday worship is at 10:45 a.m.

Leader Bio:
Licensed Local Pastor Dorothy Smith has served both Humboldt and Table Rock congregations since July of 2017. Dorothy’s background was agricultural. She grew up on a cattle ranch in the sand hills of Nebraska and still loves horses, cattle, wide-open spaces, country music and old westerns. Dorothy was married to a farmer in southeastern Nebraska from 1977 to 2000. She and her then husband farmed side by side raising cattle, hogs, row crop, hay and, most notably a wonderful daughter and son. Dorothy is a proud grandma now, but she still has a bit of cowgirl spirit and loves to camp, hunt and ride her Kawasaki motorcycle. Come join us for worship anytime. Dorothy’s down-to-earth sense of humor will make you feel right at home.

Welcome! We are so glad you could join us this morning in this unusual format to worship God. lust a quick reminder of the rules:
1. You must remain in your car with your windows closed.
2. Tune your radio to the FM channel listed on the signs.
a. Don't worry if you need to start your car occasionally or leave it run so your battery doesn't run down. That won't affect the reception for others.
3. Sing with gusto. Like singing in the shower, nobody but your family can hear you, so enjoy!
4. We will not take an offering because we are not allowed to open our windows. But please mail your checks to your local church. Or Methodist may pay online at http://humboldttablerockumc.org/ We still have a mission to do!
5. If you have brought bread and juice from your home for communion, please set it on your dash so that at the appropriate erne, Pastor Howard can invoke the Holy Spirit to consecrate it. If you chose not to participate in communion, that is fine.
Please don't drive away until the end of the service.
It's been more than 4 years since the last service times update. Please make sure to contact the church to confirm service times.

Love me, Lord, just for today
Lord, for tomorrow and its needs, I do not pray; Keep me, my God, from stain of sin just for today. Let me both diligently work, And duly pray. Let me be kind in word and deed, Just for today. Let me be slow to do my will, Prompt to obey; Help me to sacrifice myself Just for today. And if today my tide of life should ebb away, Give me thy sacraments divine, Sweet Lord today. So for tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, But keep me, guide me, love me, Lord, Just for today.
