Question: Must there be a Restoration in preparation for the second coming of Christ?

Answer: 'And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until the times of RESTITUTION of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. Question: Was the preparation made by John the Baptist in the wilderness of Judea just 'before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord,' or is that 'day' still in the future?

Answer: 'The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come.'

'Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven:'—Matthew 24: 29, 30.

Question: But didn't an angel of the Lord tell Zacharias that his son whose name should be John would fulfill that prophecy in Malachi 4:5 and 6?
