Who we are
The Church of the Ascension was built in the year 1850 and is historically designated as one of the oldest Anglican churches in the region.
The parishioners are a welcoming people and invite anyone interested in joining the church to participate in a variety of ministries.
Everyone is welcome to participate in the
Ascension’s services and programs - no matter where they have come from or where they are going. It’s helpful if you will provide us with contact information so that we can stay in touch, but its not mandatory.
If you are exploring a faith community for the first time or returning to church after a time away, you need to take your time. Have a conversation with our Priest-in-Charge. If you conclude that The Church of the Ascension is not the right place for you, we will understand and respect your wishes. Contact our Parish Secretary at 905-527-3505 or email: [email protected]. Visit our website at www.ascensionchurch.ca
