MEET THE CONNECTION
In prayer, the leadership of The Connection came together and asked, “God, give us a vision for your church”. And together with Him we began to dream dreams and imagine… Years later we can confidently say that what we once imagined we are now seeing become a reality!
You can expect to meet broken people whose lives have been changed by Jesus’ love. You can expect that the love Jesus has poured into their life will be poured into yours. You can expect to be accepted just as you are. You can expect to hear messages of hope and encouragement. You can expect to see authentic Christ-followers who take seriously the call to be Christ-like.
Jesus is our center and our desire is to love without reservation just as he exampled for us. We are not perfect, but we are being perfected in Christ’s love. This journey of growing in God’s amazing grace is one we invite you to join us in… Connected to Jesus and to one another in Love. When you come to The Connection you can expect a positive, casual, encouraging and friendly atmosphere.
At The Connection, we are a “come just as you are” community. When you get to our building look for the visitor parking signs near the main entrance. Our morning worship begins at 10:00 and as you come in you will meet our greeters. Feel free to ask them any questions. The greeters will give you a bulletin listing the morning’s events and if you have kids they will be glad to take you and your children to the nursery or Kidzifa (which means Kids Praise). On your way, you can grab some coffee and snacks in the foyer.
Our music and sermons are relevant and Christ centered. In every part of our worship service, we desire to create an atmosphere where we encounter Jesus in such a way that will challenge us and compel us to live Christ-like lives. At the end of every service, we open a time to worship God in giving our tithes and offerings. However, as our guest, the service is our gift to you.
We at The Connection want to take this time to invite you to join us on this journey together. Our church can be your home!

Leader Bio:
Chris is the Lead Pastor and primary teaching pastor at The Connection. Pastor Chris and his wife Cherie have served in ministry together since 2002. Chris is married to Cherie and they have three children: Abigail, Micah and Samuel. Chris completed his undergraduate degree at Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma with a B.S. in Theology. He continued his post graduate education at Northwest Nazarene University receiving a Masters in Missional Leadership. Chris’ passion in ministry is discipleship where he aims to help individuals know the importance of daily practices of the faith. Chris loves spending time with his family, hiking, camping, trail running and reading. He has backpacked all over the northwest including the Sawtooths, Sierra Nevada, Cascades and Canyonlands.
