Who we are
Welcome!
The Foundry Church expresses its purpose in a variety of ways, but essentially it exists for 3 reasons:
1 Most importantly, we exist to glorify God. These excellent facilities have been provided so that people can come in week-by-week to worship, pray, and to be taught God’s word, in order to live lives that honour Him. And we do this for the oldest to the youngest, in our main services and in our mid-week programs, and through our specialized children’s and youth work.
2 We exist to connect people to Jesus Christ. We believe that he is not only the reason for the Christmas season, but that he is relevant to every person’s life throughout the whole year. We believe He is the only hope of the world and would love to help you connect to Him.
3 We exist to show practical love and kindness to our community. This is done through a variety of programs which help many members of our community, especially those most needy and disadvantaged. We take seriously our Christian responsibility to bring relief to the poor, the hungry the homeless, and the marginalized.
So if you are looking for a great church, we would love you to connect with us. And a great way to do this is by visiting one of our Sunday services. Details are on our 'Sundays’ page. You are guaranteed lively worship, genuine friendship, and a great cup of tea or coffee.
We'll be looking out for you! Brian Hewitt Senior Leader of The Foundry Church
