The Parish of St. James & St. Brendan Service Times
Sunday Service Times:
8:30 - Traditional, spoken Eucharist
Our 8:30 a.m. service is a traditional service of Holy Communion taken from the Book of Common Prayer. The service is spoken, with no music. It is a quiet opportunity for prayers, scripture reading, sermon, affirmation of faith, confession, and Holy Communion. Note: There is no child care offered during the 8:30 service. A reception follows every service at the Guild H
10:30 - Contemporary Choral Eucharist with Child Care and Sunday School
Our 10:30 service is a Contemporary Choral Eucharist. The service is family oriented, offering Children's ministry, Sunday School and Nursery Care. During the service we sing songs (old and new), hear the scriptures read, receive a sermon, affirm our faith, confess our sins, and celebrate communion as God's people. The service is "media rich" with all prayers and songs being displayed for easy viewing on our multimedia worship screens (no fumbling with books or bulletins). Every service ends with a free light lunch/reception at our parish hall - the Guild Hall, just across the street from the church.
Healing Service - Thursday at 10:00 a.m.
Every Thursday we offer a small, quiet service of Holy Communion with optional prayers for healing, and anointing with oil. This service is a welcoming and discreet opportunity to bring your hopes and struggles to God for laying on of hands and healing prayers. Following each service is an optional time of fellowship, coffee, and conversation in the church narthex.
It's been more than 6 years since the last service times update. Please make sure to contact the church to confirm service times.

Accept, O Lord
Accept, O Lord, my entire liberty, my memory, my understanding and my will. All that I am and have thou hast given to me; and I give all back to thee to be disposed of according to they good pleasure. Give me only the comfort of thy presence and the joy of thy love; with thee I shall be more than rich and shall desire nothing more.
