Who we are
Welcome to Tree of Life Unitarian Universalist Congregation
Here people of diverse beliefs and backgrounds come together for mutual support and fellowship as we follow our own paths in search of truth and meaning. We celebrate the full participation of everyone without regard to age, gender, sexual orientation, race, or any other category of exclusion. You’ll find our members attired in everything from business wear to more casual clothing. Some have been life-long Unitarian Universalists; most have come into this faith from other religious traditions. Check out the Unitarian Universalism Association website to learn more about this liberal religion.
Our Sunday services are a great way to begin to get to know us better. Our services focus on a wide variety of religious, philosophical, personal, and social issues. They are led by our minister, our musicians, and a weekly Lay Worship Leader. We honor the wisdom of the world’s religious traditions and often include readings from the sacred texts of one or more of these traditions in a service. We invite you to come visit us and see if our open-minded, liberal religion feels right for you.
Our Children and Youth Religious Education program—known as Sunday School in other faith traditions—is designed to give our kids the tools they need to make up their own minds about life’s big questions. Exposure to the stories, beliefs, theologies, and practices of the world’s religions is an important aspect of this spiritual development program. The first time you bring your children, please come by the office 10–15 minutes early (the Welcoming Greeters can direct you) and someone will help you find your children’s classrooms.

Tree of Life UU Congregation Service Times
Our worship services are held at 10:45 a.m. every Sunday.
Children sit with their parents, grandparents and/or guardians for the first part of the service, and after a story particularly chosen to be appropriate to our theme, are invited to attend Religious Education (R.E.) classes. Child care is provided in our nursery for younger children for the entire service. We also hold some services that are for all ages. On these mornings there are no R.E. classes, but child care is always offered for younger children.
It's been more than 8 years since the last service times update. Please make sure to contact the church to confirm service times.

With us night and morning
By gracious powers so wonderfully sheltered, and confidently waiting come what may, we know that God is with us night and morning, and never fails to greet us each new day. Yet is this heart by its old foe tormented, still evil days bring burdens hard to bear; Oh, give our frightened souls the sure salvation for which, O Lord, You taught us to prepare. And when this cup You give is filled to brimming with bitter suffering, hard to understand, we take it thankfully and without trembling, out of so good and so beloved a hand. Yet when again in this same world You give us the joy we had, the brightness of Your Sun, we shall remember all the days we lived through, and our whole life shall then be Yours alone.
