Who we are
Trinity & Zion are dual parish congregations of The Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod (LC-MS). We are blessed by our Triune God who "is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.” (Psalm 103:8, ESV). We gather together in this free country every Sunday to receive the gifts from The Lord. We meet in at Zion in Gilman at 8:30 and at Trinity in Sheldon at 10:15 where The Lord dishes out grace in absolution, grace in His Word, grace in His Holy Supper. We are filled with His grace and so we can go out into the world and spill out His love and forgiveness that we ourselves have been filled with. “We love because he first loved us.” (1 John 4:19, ESV)
Are you traveling through, on vacation, or looking for a home congregation? Come and be blessed with us. Here are a few things to expect:
We use a liturgy that is oozing with God's Word. We have The Lutheran Service Book for our hymnal, liturgies, and psalms. If you are unfamiliar with it, you may want to spend a minute or two before service to look through it, and feel free to grab the person sitting near by to ask for help. They will be glad to guide you!
What to wear? We have a variety of dress from suits and dresses to jeans to business casual. We only ask that you be respectful for the sake of others and be reverent.
The Service usually lasts about an hour. It is great if you could hang around for a little fellowship before and after the service.
We do celebrate The Lord's Supper every Sunday except for the 5th Sunday of the month. We are concerned about the spiritual welfare of all who commune at the Lord’s Table. If you are a guest and desire to commune, please speak to the pastor or a church Elder before the service. Our altar is open to those who confess oneness with us in doctrine, are members of our congregation or sister congregations of the Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod, and are not under church discipline in another congregation.

Give us vision
Give to us clear vision that we may know where to stand and what to stand for -- because unless we stand for something, we shall fall for anything.
