Who we are
Trinity Lutheran Church is a place where faith & life connect
A connection between faith and life is worth saying out loud. The fact is, we have an amazing ability to compartmentalize our lives – that is, we have an amazing ability to do things on a Monday we would never do on a Sunday. Likewise, we have an ability to be a part of things on Sunday that don’t get a second thought the rest of the week.
Philipians 4:9 says, "Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”
Given this verse, the cost of de - compartmentalizing is God’s presence and His peace. Peace at home. Peace in relationships. Peace of mind.

Teach me
Teach me, O God, to use all the circumstances of my life to-day that they may bring forth in me the fruits of holiness rather than the fruits of sin. Let me use disappointment as material for patience: Let me use success as material for thankfulness: Let me use suspence as material for perseverance: Let me use danger as material for courage: Let me use reproach as material for longsuffering: Let me use praise as material for humility: Let me use pleasures as material for temperance: Let me use pains as material for endurance.
