Leader Bio:
As our senior pastor, Aaron equips and collaborates with an amazing church staff, oversees together with our ruling elders to discern the Lord’s direction for our church, and brings us weekly instruction from God’s Word. Aaron graduated from Trinity Christian College and earned his MDiv at Western Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Nicole, are the proud parents of one daughter and three sons. Aaron arrived at WEPC in August 2020, and is grateful to serve alongside a congregation that is passionate about loving Jesus, loving one another, and loving our community.
In his spare time, you might find him imagining he can fly as he dabbles in RC aviation, fishing, or running. If the way to a person’s heart is through their stomach, just about any Chicago style pizza (deep dish or thin crust) or good Mexican food will do.

Presby Preschool
Presby Preschool Mission
Presby Preschool serves three- to five-year-old children and their families in Kosciusko County to promote healthy development and to introduce them to the love of Jesus Christ.
Our highly qualified staff members share Christ’s love with the students through a play-based curriculum that allows exploration, curiosity, and a personal focus on learning.
By their example of compassion and love, and through a Bible-based curriculum we instill a passion for learning that lasts a lifetime.
We base this mission on the words of Jesus, “Your Father in Heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost”. Matthew 18:14
Presby Preschool Philosophy
We believe a preschool should provide an exciting program of enrichment for the total child. We are dedicated to facilitating the growth and development of young children in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment. The program is designed to encourage each child’s growth in the following areas by:
Spiritual - Introducing, teaching and modeling Biblical concepts, morals and values in the classroom and in all activities and programs, and helping each child learn to know and love Jesus Christ.
Social - Giving the child opportunities to develop respect for themselves and others, and by encouraging appropriate interactions and friendships with their classmates and teachers.
Emotional - Providing experiences that will encourage an awareness of their own emotions and the ability to express and manage their emotions while also responding appropriately to others’ emotions so that they grow in independence and responsibility, and develop healthy interpersonal relationships.
Physical - Offering daily physical play time outdoors and providing numerous activities to develop healthy bodies through coordination, muscle strengthening and an awareness of their bodies.
Cognitive - Engaging children in activities that challenge their thinking and stimulate their curiosity, leading to an excitement for learning about the world around them and the learning skills that will prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.
DIVERSITY & ACCESSIBILITY
Presby Preschool serves children of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin. We partner with the Warsaw Community Schools to offer an inclusive place to learn for children of all backgrounds and abilities.
Presby Preschool classrooms are handicap accessible, and we offer assistance for children with physical and learning disabilities.
See our Staff Page to learn more about our partnership with WCS, and the amazing people who facilitate the program, to provide equal opportunities for all young children in our community.

Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church History
How it all started...
Our church has been worshiping and serving God in downtown Warsaw since November 7, 1840. Warsaw has grown significantly since then, and so have we. Our current facility dates to 1883 with the dedication of the sanctuary where our services are still held today. Later expansions to our building in 1915, 1984, and 2003 have added Sunday school wings, preschool classrooms, a fellowship hall, playground, gym, and youth room to our ministry facilities.
How things changed...
By the turn of the millennium, it became apparent that it was time to part ways with our former denomination, the Presbyterian Church (USA). In 2004, after a period of discerning God’s direction, the congregation voted unanimously to withdraw from the PC (USA) and join the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. We also changed our name from First Presbyterian Church to Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church at that time.
Where we are headed...
Today WEPC continues to be known throughout the Warsaw area for its active and faithful Christian witness amid changing times. As a downtown congregation, we are actively involved in helping the needy, partnering with local mission agencies, and reaching out to the neighborhoods surrounding our church building. We are also committed to reaching the next generation for Christ through Presby Preschool, Sunday school programs, and midweek children’s and student ministries.
Why is this important...
Our 175-year history reminds us that we are part of something bigger than ourselves. We who are part of this historic congregation today are indebted in countless ways to the faith of those who have gone before us. As recipients of this godly heritage and stewards of the gospel, we tirelessly proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ so that the generations will experience the joy of knowing, loving, and serving our faithful Savior.

Abide with us
O Holy Spirit of God, abide with us; inspire all our thoughts; pervade our imaginations; suggest all our decisions; order all our doings. Be with us in our silence and in our speech, in our haste and in our leisure, in company and in solitude, in the freshness of the morning and in the weariness of the evening; and give us grace at all times humbly to rejoice in Thy mysterious companionship.
