Who we are
We believe in…
The one true God who lives eternally in three persons—the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
The love, grace and sovereignty of God in creating, sustaining, ruling, redeeming and judging the world.
The divine inspiration and supreme authority of the Old and New Testament Scriptures, which are the written Word of God—fully trustworthy for faith and conduct.
The dignity of all people, made male and female in God’s image to love, be holy and care for creation, yet corrupted by sin, which incurs divine wrath and judgement.
The incarnation of God’s eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ—born of the virgin Mary; truly divine and truly human, yet without sin.
The atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross: dying in our place, paying the price of sin and defeating evil, so reconciling us with God.
The bodily resurrection of Christ, the first fruits of our resurrection; his ascension to the Father, and his reign and mediation as the only Saviour of the world.
The justification of sinners solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ.
The ministry of God the Holy Spirit, who leads us to repentance, unites us with Christ through new birth, empowers our discipleship and enables our witness.
The Church, the body of Christ both local and universal, the priesthood of all believers—given life by the Spirit and endowed with the Spirit’s gifts to worship God and proclaim the gospel, promoting justice and love.
The personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to fulfil the purposes of God, who will raise all people to judgement, bring eternal life to the redeemed and eternal condemnation to the lost, and establish a new heaven and new earth.

West Road Church Service Times
9:30am Early Communion
We celebrate Communion each Sunday together at 9.30am on the first, third and fifth (if there is one) Sunday of each month. You would be very welcome to join us for a short 40 minute reflective and devotional service.
10:45am Sunday Morning Service
The whole church family join together at the start of this service, and then the children leave at 11.00am to go to their own Kids Church. This service includes Communion on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. There is a full programme of bible teaching throughout the year, and the service includes testimonies, prayer, and contemporary sung worship led by our Worship Band. There is a crèche available for any children of 0 – 2 ½ years old.
10.45am All Age Family Service (first Sunday of each month)
The whole church family joins together for the entire service. There is a “crawler area” at the back for any little ones who join us. We present a lively all-age service, always based around a Bible story with something for everyone.
6:00pm Evening Service – NiteLIFE
We gather on a Sunday evening for worship, Bible teaching and prayer. There is usually time for prayer-ministry at the end of the service.
The first Sunday of the month is Nitelife Preach, with an emphasis on bible teaching.
The second Sunday of the month is Nitelife Celebrate, and includes an extended time of sung worship.
The third Sunday of the month is Nitelife Pray, when we come together as a church family for focussed prayer.
The fourth Sunday of the month is Nitelife Grow, when we look at discipleship and growing together in Christ.
If there is a fifth Sunday in the month, then the service is a Youth Service – led by our youth in the church, and is more contemporary in style.
WESTLEY COMMUNITY CONGREGATION – WESTLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL
