Who we are
If you are searching for a church home, you are welcome to worship with us Sunday mornings at 9:50a.m.We offer a blended style of worship (traditional & contemporary choruses, as well as occasional drama.) There is a weekly children's message in the beginning quarter of service after which elementary children and youth leave the worship setting for their own Sunday School classes. We also offer a professionally staffed nursery for infants and toddlers. Holy Communion is offered the first Sunday of each month--the Lord's Table is open to all who worship with us. There is an adult choir that shares its gifts with the congregation each week and a hand-chime choir that also gifts the worship service approximately once a month.

Praise singing starts at 9:50 service 10:00am. Children's & Youth Sunday School: classes are taught by rotating teams of adults using a variety of biblical-based curriculum. Children have class every week year-round. Youth have class the 2nd through 4th weeks of the month. Youth remain in worship the 1st week of the month and help lead worship on the 5th Sundays when they occur.
Adult Sunday School: classes are also offered following the worship service at approx. 11:30 a.m. There are currently at least two choices for adult weekly classes: a traditional, scripture based, facilitator lead class meets in the Chapel. This class uses the traditional lectionary as a base for year-round lessons. A second class meets in Fellowship Hall, featuring contemporary Christian leaders such as Max Lucado, Adam Hamilton, Philip Yancy, etc. The topics usually last 6-12 weeks and while they are scripturally based, they lend themselves to a more open-discussion style with rotating leadership.
Seasonal study opportunities: During the church year there are additional short-term study opportunities which are offered at West Vienna. Pat Irish bible study on Fridays at 10:00 AM. Call the office for details.
Maple Wood Nursing Home Clio Service: All are welcome to join the ministry team and share in the service with those at the home. 3-3:45 Sunday , Contact church office.
We also serve the North End Soup Kitchen, the 3ed Monday of the month. See the signup sheet in the narthex.
