Who we are
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, that it is our absolute authority, and that it is sufficient to meet our every need.
The Bible clearly teaches the deity, virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death on the cross, bodily resurrection, and personal, imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ and that salvation from sin and hell is by grace through faith alone in Christ alone.
We therefore identify ourselves as:
Independent … because our sole authority is the Scriptures–not the dictates of any man, denomination, or organization. Fundamental … because we stand without apology for the inspiration and infallibility of the Word of God, preach His Word in Its entirety, defend His Word, and resolve to obey His Word.

Westside Baptist Church Q&A
Question: How should I dress?
Answer: Wear what you would out in public as when you go to a restaurant, etc.Question: Should I bring anything?
Answer: If you have a Bible, please bring it. If you don’t have a Bible, we would be glad to provide one for you! Although we are not “King James only” the King James Version is what is used from the pulpit for standardization purposes. Our pastor also studies and recommends the NASB (New American Standard Bible) and the NKJV (New King James Version).Question: How should I conduct myself?
Answer: Announcements are projected onto a screen before the morning service. Simply follow the one leading the service from the platform.Question: What about small children?
Answer: We have a well-staffed nursery for children through age 3. Unless your children are able to sit quietly without distracting others, we encourage you to allow them to enjoy our nursery—you will certainly enjoy the service more! Each parent is given a pager to take with you into the service so that you may be notified immediately (silent vibration) if necessary.Question: Am I expected to give money?
Answer: No. Our offerings are free-will offerings and no one should feel compelled to give. If you do not wish to give, simply pass the plate on to the next person. No one is watching to see if you give or how much you give.Question: How long do the services last?
Answer: All services generally go for no more than 1 hour.Street Address

Leader Bio:
In 1995 Dan and his wife, Juanita, moved to Greeley, Colorado for the purpose of planting an independent, fundamental Baptist Church. Westside Baptist Church held its first service at the Christa McAuliffe Elementary School on September 10, 1995.
Dan was born in Hutchinson, Kansas. As a child he grew up in Omaha, Nebraska for nine years and then in rural Nebraska and Kansas. He was reared in a Christian home and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at the age of eight. Believing the Lord had called him into the ministry he attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Bible, with a minor in Greek, in 1981 and a Master’s degree in Bible in 1983. Upon his graduation in 1983 he remained at Bob Jones University holding various positions such as the Information Desk Supervisor, Student Recruitment Coordinator, and University Registrar.
Juanita was born in Huntsville, Alabama. She was saved at the age of 9 at Vacation Bible School at Meadow Hills Baptist Church (now Calvary Baptist Church). At the age of 16, she dedicated her life at The Wilds Christian Camp in Brevard, NC for full-time Christian service. In order to better prepare her for the ministry she attended Bob Jones University and majored in Practical Christian Training with a minor in Secretarial Science.
Dan and Juanita were married in 1990 and have three sons: Benjamin (wife Jamy), Barak (wife Carissa), and Jesse and two grandsons.
