Westside Baptist Temple is a family-friendly, multi-ethnic, independent Baptist church where you’ll feel welcomed and loved! We’re not perfect, just a group of forgiven sinners striving to know Christ and make Him known to a lost world!

At Westside Baptist Temple the Preaching of God’s Word is emphasized. A modern trend in preaching is to soften the truth of how God wants us to live. Distinctive music is another special aspect of Westside. After just one service you will realize that our intent is to Glorify God to the best of our ability. Our Traditional, yet exciting, congregational singing and special music gives everyone the opportunity to participate in expressing God’s worth to Him.
Finally, we hold to Traditional, Biblical, Baptist Beliefs. In the past, when people stood up for what they believed, they were said to have character. Today, some call them intolerant, old-fashioned, or out-of-touch. In our drifting society, where families are falling apart and violence and disharmony are common, people need solid, steady teaching from God's word.

After serving as Missionaries in Mexico for 25 years, Brother Tim Urling and his wife Kelly are now serving as our senior pastor. Brother and Mrs. Urling were used of the Lord to Help establish ten churches during their time in Mexico.
Both Tim and Kelly have a pasion to see the lost come to Christ and then for Christ to change their lives for His honor and glory.
The Urlings were trained for the ministry under their late pastor Charley O'Daniel and he received his degree in missions form Oklahoma Baptist College.
