Welcome to Whetstone Baptist Church
Whoever you are, whatever your background, whatever your current situation, you will be warmly welcomed at WBC.
If you don't, at the moment, follow Jesus or believe in God, we provide a safe and trustworthy environment to explore Christianity.
If you have a relationship with God, or once did and want to return to him, then you are equally welcome. We'll help you develop and deepen that relationship.
We are a community of faith that lives to glorify God through Jesus Christ in worship, making disciples, loving one another, and serving the community.
We are a group of ordinary people from many backgrounds, who have had many different experiences in life, both good and bad. We have one thing that brings us together and unites us – our love for our Father God and our relationship with him through his son, Jesus Christ.
Our Sunday services, courses and and midweek small groups help us explore and deepen faith. We have a wide range of young people's, and children's ministry groups, and lots of ways you can get involved.

Whetstone Baptist Church Service Times
Sunday service times
9am-10am
Our 9am service is a more traditional service and may include hymns during our times of musical worship as well as contemporary songs. Communion is shared once a month. The service finishes by 10:00am and is followed by tea and coffee in the church hall.
10.45am-12.00pm
Our 10:45am service is livelier and busier and starts with everyone worshipping together with an all-age message before the children and young people leave for their own Kids' Church. The sermon is usually a repeat of the 9am service. Communion is shared once a month. The service finishes by 12:00pm and is followed by tea and coffee in the church hall.
6.15pm-7.30pm
Our evening services are an opportunity for us to experience different ways of worshipping and being together. Themes can range from exploring a big question, using the time to pray together or participating in a time of quiet reflection and healing. Communion is served once a month.
