In addition to serving as pastor, I am a wife, mom, grandma (my favorite title), and business owner. But, my spiritual journey begins with Christian parents who ensured that I heard the name of Jesus from birth and I began to trust Jesus as my Savior and Lord in middle school after attending the Okoboji Methodist summer church camp. My relationship with Jesus flourished when I began studying the Bible through Bible Study Fellowship (BSFInternational.org). BSF taught me how to read the Bible informationally--which I loved. AND, I also learned to read God’s Word transformationally—which was sometimes painful, as is often the case with the Holy Spirit’s pruning!
In 2012, I responded to the Holy Spirit’s stirring to start classes at Sioux Falls Seminary, and after seven years of part-time study, I graduated in May of 2019 with a Master of Divinity degree. After 13 years serving as executive pastor for a Sioux Falls church, I love being able to focus on preaching and serving God with the people of White and Sterling churches as pastor.
It is an unbelievable privilege that our Sovereign God invites us to be a part of His Divine Work here on earth. He invites us to be used by Him as instruments of His love and peace. My hope and prayer is that we all find transformational relationship with Christ. I pray that as the power of the Holy Spirit transforms us, we will be agents of transformation for the community and the world — all for the glory of God.
