Who we are
Word Became Flesh Ministries is a non-denominational church that began in the summer months of 1997 with the intent to create a church for the "un-churched."
This decision was based on the realization that Jesus Himself did not claim that affiliation with a specific denomination was essential to being his disciple. More importantly, Jesus commissioned his followers to go and make more disciples!
From humble beginnings, with bible studies and church services held in homes, Word Became Flesh Ministries has grown into the community of faith.
With God's divine guidance, and the willingness of members to use their talents and abilities to serve, it has become a family - a family that is focused on not only leading people to Christ, but providing guidance and nurturing them throughout their spiritual journey.

The way, the truth, and the life
Lord Jesus, thou who art the way, the truth, and the life; hear us as we pray for the truth that shall make all free. Teach us that liberty is not only to be loved but also to be lived. Liberty is too precious a thing to be buried in books. It costs too much to be hoarded. Help us see that our liberty is not the right to do as we please, but the opportunity to please to do what is right.
