Who we are
We are a dynamic group of believers who wants to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout this nation and the world. To see the lost saved, the captives set free, and the sick healed.
What We Believe
There is one God who is three persons: God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit each who possesses equally all the attributes of Deity.
"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." (1 John 5:7)
God, our loving Father, is the almighty creator and sustainer of the heavens and earth. In fact, He is the creator of everything, and we’re made in His image, which means we’re like Him in many ways. He’s loving, just and desires a personal relationship with us. We believe that the connection to God is the most important connection in life. God wants to connect with you, and somewhere deep inside, you want to connect with Him, even if you don't realize it yet.
Jesus Christ, God's Son, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered for the sins of all mankind under Pontius Pilate, he was crucified, buried, descended into hell and arose on the third day. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. He is coming again to judge the living and the dead and He will set up His kingdom and reign forever over the earth and heavens.
We believe that "Jesus is the only way, truth and the life and no man will come unto the Father (God) but by Jesus alone." (John 14:6)
We're all born sinners, and we all make choices in life that separate us from God. Because we have free will, we can reject this relationship and live outside of God's plan for our lives. But God loves us so much, that he sent His only Son, Jesus, to die so we could live. The cost of sin is separation from God, spiritual death, but Jesus came and his death paid everyone’s debt. (John 3:16) Because of His perfect love, this gift from God is waiting for anyone who wants to receive it. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9) This is called Grace, and God gives it freely and abundantly to anyone who believes.
The Holy Spirit, is sent by God, to be in the hearts of every believer with grace and power to change our lives, make us more like Jesus, convict us of sins, teaching and leading into all truth, renewing the mind, providing comfort in times of distress, and unifying believers in a bond of love. The Holy Spirit is Gods way of communicating with His people through the written word of God and inner communication of the heart. He draws sinners to Christ, imparts new life to believers, continually indwells believers from the moment of spiritual birth and seals believers until the day of redemption.
"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my (Jesus) name, he shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I (Jesus) have said unto you." (John 14:26)
We are a body of believers who have been called to operate in the gifts of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), in the fivefold ministry of the Spirit and in the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
