Agape Fellowship History
Agape Fellowship was founded in the belief that people can make positive changes in their lives when they find a community of faith that will accept them as they are. It began in the early 1970's as a ministry of visionary Alvin Roth, founder of Mission Services of London. Alvin gathered a small group of people who met for weekly Bible study. The small group developed into a worshipping community. For the last three decades Agape has been a Mennonite Church that serves people who are struggling with various aspects of their lives, people who have lower incomes, physical and/or mental disabilities. Agape participants become engaged in both the Agape family and the larger community.
