Who we are
Welcome to the Anglican Parish of St. Margaret’s. We are an active congregation with something for everybody. Have a look around and be sure to come visit us on Sunday.
Our Mission: To be a growing Christian Community
Yes, but how?
“…apart from Me you can do nothing.”
First, give yourself to Jesus,
Then to the work He gives you.
What work?
1. “My house shall be a house of prayer”
Be a house / community of prayer listening to Jesus.
2. “Do this for the remembrance of me”
Be a family gathered around His table.
3. “Come unto me all you …”
Be an inviting place of welcome
4. “…who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Be a place of Christ-centred service
5. “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me”
Be growing in knowing and serving Jesus.
And, leave the rest to Him.
Parish Prayer
Almighty Father, look graciously upon the members of St. Margaret’s Parish. By the grace of your Holy Spirit, make clear the mission and ministry you have for us. May all we do contribute to the building up of the body of Christ. May we be a growing Christian community, united in love and a blessing to present and future generations. Move the hearts of your people to give willingly and work patiently, that your house may be a place of beauty and utility acceptable to you, our Father; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
