Who we are
Athey Creek Christian Fellowship is a body of believers desiring to know the Lord in an ever-increasing measure. We are a non-denominational fellowship associating with all who are in the Body of Christ.
Weekend Services
Our Saturday night and Sunday morning services are identical to one another. Like much of what we do at Athey, these services are simple and casual. Acts 2:42 offers a clear description of how the early church operated. It is our desire to follow this model as closely as possible. Since we study through the Bible, book-by-book, on Wednesday nights, the Saturday and Sunday teachings usually highlight a particular verse or section from the upcoming midweek study.
What to Expect
If you plan to attend one of our services, you can expect the following:
A church in a warehouse; nothing fancy
Casual attire and atmosphere
Bible study that is applicable to daily living
Earnest worship that is uplifting and biblically based
A Children’s Ministry that provides a safe environment where kids can learn about Jesus
Parking that is located in several parking lots that surround our building; attendants will steer you to a spot
Our Vision
From the start, the vision for ACCF has been clear and focused: we want everything we do to point to Jesus. This means that we keep things simple. Acts 2:42 outlines the model of the early church, “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” We take this verse to heart and conform to that pattern in the various ways we minister. We view the church as a refuge, a hospital of sorts, where those who are lost, hurting or just plain worn-out feel welcome. Our hope is that we all find the healing and refreshment we need as we follow this example from the early church.

Brett is our senior pastor. He and his family moved to Portland in 1996 to start Athey Creek Christian Fellowship. Athey Creek Christian Fellowship History
Early Years
Athey Creek Christian Fellowship started in 1996 when Brett Meador moved to Portland with his family. After 12 years on staff at Applegate Christian Fellowship, he sensed God calling him to start a church. The fellowship began with a small group of believers who met at Athey Creek Middle School to study through the Bible, verse-by-verse. We continued to study through the Word in this way and the church continued to grow. When it became obvious that we had outgrown the middle school, the Lord, in His perfect timing, provided a warehouse building in Wilsonville. A short five years later, we moved into a building of our own in West Linn.
Vision
From the start, the vision for ACCF has been clear and focused: we want everything we do to point to Jesus. For us, it means that we keep things simple. Acts 2:42 outlines the model of the early church, “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” We take this verse to heart and make sure that we conform to that pattern in the various ways we minister. We view the church as a refuge, a hospital of sorts, where those who are lost, hurting or worn out feel welcome. Our hope is that we all find the healing and refreshment we need as we stick to the early church example.
