Our church is about the unconditional love for God. It is about the unmerited favour of God.
We favour people, which is why everyone is welcomed at Authentic City Church Assemblies of God. Come as you are and enjoy the fun, fellowship and the grace of God.
The inception of the church
The story of Grace City Church started started on 17th December 2005 when four people gathered for prayer in Pastor Dereck’s house with no agenda but to obey God. The result was the birthing of fresh mandate to make disciples of all nations which saw the first Sunday service on Christmas Day, 25th December 2005!
The story of Bethshan International Church started in 1928 with John Nelson Parr. The church has a unique place in the history of the Assemblies of God in UK and the world as a whole. From 25th March, 2018 Grace City Church Ardwick joined together with Bethshan International Church into one congregation meeting in the Bethshan premises. The church has continued to experience steady growth in every aspect!
At the start of 2019, the church declared 40 days of prayer and fasting. As the year progressed it became clear that God was doing something new in the church with a fresh identity. This led the church to adopt fresh ‘Authentic City Church’ on 17th February 2019. We are indeed a city that is set on a hill… Matt 5:14
Authentic City Church is one church in multiple locations. We invite you to join us and be part of the story as it continues.

Every Sunday we have services as follows: 9.00am (English); 11.00am (English); 1.15pm (Swahili); 3.00pm (Spanish); 4.45pm (English); 6.00pm (Portuguese); 7.15pm (French) and online devotional at 8.30pm.
We have prayer meeting every Friday from at 7.00pm - 10.00pm. Every last Friday of the month, we have a night vigil from 7.00 pm -2.00am. Every Wednesday we have Bible study from 7.00pm-8.45pm.
We have praise team practise Saturday from 11.00am -1.00pm. Everyone who feels called to the ministry of praise and worship is free to join.
