Leader Bio:
Christiaan Hofstra is husband to Donna and father to Chloe and Anna. Originally from Holland, he has lived all over the world, from Hong Kong to Los Angeles. Now he calls Edinburgh home, and is looking forward to new beginnings of Christ and His Gospel at the centre of Bellevue Chapel. When he isn't preaching on Sunday morning, you can find Christiaan cycling, enjoying a bit of music or even taking a stab at cooking.

Bellevue Chapel History
What is now Bellevue Chapel was built in the late 19th century as a Lutheran place of worship for German-speaking Edinburgh residents. In 1919 it was taken over by a meeting of the Christian Brethren and became Bellevue Chapel. A famous attendee was the Christian scholar, F. F. Bruce, who was here 1935-8 when he was teaching at Edinburgh University. The church continues to this day, self-identifying as 'independent'.
