What We Believe
The most important belief that you need to know is that we believe that God’s Word is true and seek to teach it faithfully and live by it carefully. Pastor and author, Andy Stanley once said: “the greatest miracle is not IN the Bible, the greatest miracle IS the Bible . . . 40 authors, 3 languages, 3 continents, 4000 years, one story.” That one story is traced through the seven core truths that we hold to at Bethel Baptist Church.
What We Do
We are committed to teaching the word of God, reaching the next generation, and fulfilling the Great Commission. We strive to be a church that cares about people, shares the love of Christ, and is faithful in prayer. We do what we do because of what we believe and who we are. Our actions in ministry reflect our love for God, His Word, and all people.

Children’s Ministry
Bethel is committed to reaching children with the love of Christ and teaching them the word of God. We have a children's message from the Pastor and then children’s worship on Sunday mornings at 10:45 am. On Wednesdays, we have games, crafts, music, and teaching.

Youth Ministry
Bethel is committed to the next generation, we seek to provide a REFUGE for students to grow closer to Christ and to one another. On Wednesday nights, students have a time of worship from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Our student praise team, “Silent Praise”, helps lead in our worship on a regular basis, and practices on Sunday evenings at 5:00 pm.

Bethel Baptist Church was founded in 1803 as a church plant of First Baptist, Sevierville. The church has a rich history of reaching the communities in the Jones Cove/New Center area. We are thankful for our rich history and excited about our bright future.
