Quote of the Day
Isaiah 53:4
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

Bethel Lutheran Church History
Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church was established on July 28, 1889. The first church structure was located on Lee Avenue in Old Town Manassas and was used for the first time in July 1897. A parsonage was erected next door in 1904, and the church building itself went through extensive remodeling in 1919.
In 1970, the church relocated from Old Town Manassas to its current location on Plantation Lane, bringing with it the three stained glass windows that are located above the choir loft in the sanctuary. The building originally included the sanctuary, Old Fellowship Hall, and first education wing (where the Preschool is located). In 1987, the church expanded by adding the sunroom, kitchen, gymnasium (the Great Hall), and the second education wing.
