Who we are
ABOUT US
CAPTURE.
We want God to work through His people to capture the heart of those who do not know Him or His love.
CONNECT.
We want to connect you to the heart of God and to His people. God’s heart embraces the diversity that the Triad represents - every language, race, culture, generation, and economic background. We want you to learn God’s love and forgiveness.
CALL.
Through prayer, hands on experiences, and the Holy Spirit’s guidance we help you discover your gifting and fulfill your individual calling.
COMMISSION.
There are 235,000 individuals in the Greensboro area who do not know Jesus Christ. C4 equips, empowers, and sends you to lovingly serve God and others.
We believe in one God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and the Savior of all who put their faith in him alone for eternal life.
We believe that those who are made new in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct and can only live this way by being filled with the Lord’s Spirit.
We believe in the Bible and its sufficiency to establish our faith and conduct.
We believe God wills for people everywhere to know him and be made new in Christ.
We believe that the purpose of the Church is to worship God in spirit and in truth, and to reach a lost and fallen world with the gospel of Jesus Christ through its worship, witness and loving deeds.
Unity in Diversity: There is intrinsic value in every person. Biblical unity becomes all the more important and beautiful in the light of the wide-ranging differences in personalities, cultures, races, languages, talents, and perspectives. Finding unity and mutual love in Christ eliminates devaluation and deprivation of life to one another.
Big Faith. Big Asks. God tells us that if we have the smallest of faith - the size of a mustard seed - that mountains can move. If we want God to do something big, we have to ask for the big things. Sometimes we ask with “ums”, “if’s”, and with doubts, and sometimes we haven’t asked because we’re trying to get to that place ourselves. God may say “No”, we hope for a “Yes”, and sometimes His response is “Not yet”. We hope that you will grow, as our team has, to have a trusting faith in God for Big Things. We may not have what we’ve wanted or needed because we simply haven’t asked God yet. Let’s lay down our tools, not in ceasing, but to hand them over to God for him to do greater things than we ever can.
Southern Guilford County is home to communities like High Point, Greensboro, Pleasant Garden and Randleman. These communities have a rich culture on their own and together mimic the diversity to be seen around Christ’s throne. C4 was created to unite these communities and cultures under one roof. C4 started as a multi-ethnic, multicultural, multi-generational, and multi-economic group of families. Through prayer, worship, and God’s leading we desire to see a family that grows into a single community reflecting every culture, color, class, and background.
