Christ Church welcomes Christians and those who seek to connect to Christianity in the Liverpool area.
We aim to make contact with and encourage others to join us in our life-changing Christian journey.
We are a friendly Christian community where we welcome others to join us in our worship and service to God.
Our vision is to make an impact for God, here in Liverpool, Merseyside by helping people understand the enriching messages of eternal hope given to us by Jesus Christ through His words and deeds.

Sunday
BCP (Traditional Language) Service
On most 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, we hold a Book of Common Prayer service at 9am. This takes a pattern of alternating between Holy Communion and Morning Prayer. All are welcome to join us for this service, which tends to have an adult congregation.
On 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays each month as well as special Sundays throughout the year this congregation joins together with the 1030am congregation and everybody worships together.
Every second and fourth Sunday at 9:00 AM for 35 minutes
Sunday Worship
Each Sunday we gather together to worship God in Leamington Road School. Whilst every Sunday is different, all our services are All Age friendly, with some services designed for all ages to worship together and others include Sunday Club ~ our gathering for school aged children. We also have an area equipped for preschool children and their carers.
We begin the month with All Age Worship, the second and fourth Sundays are usually Holy Communion and the third, Morning Worship sometimes including baptisms. If there's a fifth Sunday in the month, we do something different ~ it's often a service with prayer for healing.
We use a screen and projector during services which we've found to especially useful for those with sight difficulties. The building is also fully accessible for wheelchair users and is equipped with a disabled toilet.
Fair trade tea and coffee are served after all our services.

Sunday Club
Every Sunday as the Church gather at Leamington Road School, there is something for the children ~ most weeks it is Sunday Club ~ the children come into church and then shortly into the service they go into Sunday Club where they do activities suited to their age and experience. All school age children are welcome.

Toddler Church
Every Sunday as the Church gather at Leamington Road School, The toddlers come into church and then shortly into the service they can go into Toddler Church where they play, sing, have a story and refreshments! giving their parents an opportunity to engage in the service.

Prayer and Praise at Christ Church Centre
We gather to praise God for his goodness and pray to him - all are welcome to this informal gathering - 7pm on the first Sunday of each month at the Church Centre.

This group welcomes all, it's gives an opportunity to get to know people better, as well as to explore more about the Christian faith were we work through different themes and stories from the bible and talk about your questions - searching with others for answers.

Little Steps NOW meets at St Christopher's Church on Lorenzo Drive and welcomes preschool children with their carers - for a shared time of play, chat, story, song and much more.

CONNECT n CREATE
Connect n Create meets on Wednesday mornings in term time - a chance to connect with others and create! Why not learn to knit or crochet! knit for yourself or you can knit items for the Women's neonatal unit, as the items are so tiny they are quick to knit and some items are really very simple. Help is at hand from our more experienced knitters who enjoy sharing their skills.
Do you have a hobby, craft ideas then why not come along!
It's a great way to spend a morning and use your skills for a good cause. And there's lots of fun and laughter too!
It's a really friendly group - and they'd love to welcome some new people to it!

Christ Church is open as a Foodbank Distribution Centre on Thursday mornings. Anybody who has been given a voucher by an authorised body is welcome to come to Christ Church Centre to receive their food. All voucher holders will be given a warm welcome!
