Who we are
Serving the Lord in Florence for 50 years, Christian Assembly Church is a Spirit-filled church committed to helping people live better lives.
What We Believe
We believe in God Almighty. God of infinite wisdom, power, and grace. That in his great mercy, he sent his only Son, Jesus Christ, to reconcile the Father to us, and to make atonement, not only for our actual guilt, but also for original sin.
We believe in the crucifixion. That after his crucifixion, Jesus rose from the grave and ascended to heaven where he waits until the last day to lay judgement. That we too will rise to heaven as we are saved through his sacrifice and by believing in the Holy Scriptures know as the Bible.
We believe that we are redeemed through Christ. That we are forgiven for all sins past, present, and future, and through holy sanctification and Pentecostal Baptism, we are set on a lifelong path of Grace and knowledge that our Lord will come again.
Christian Assembly Church is a full member of the South Carolina Conference of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. We accept wholly the IPHC’s application of the Scriptures. We are confident that understanding is based on a proper and Spirit-led understanding of the Bible.

Jim, a native North Carolinian, is proud to call Florence his home. Bringing over 20 years of ministry experience with him, Jim and his wife Joanna came to Christian Assembly in April 2013. They are excited about what the Lord has planned for this church and community, and they look forward to enjoying all his favor and blessings with the CAC family.
Jim and Joanna, celebrating almost 20 years of marriage, consider their children to be their greatest treasures and thank the Lord every day for blessing their home with two strong sons (Judah, 15, and Jacob, 9) and two beautiful daughters (Julianna, 13, and Jennalyn, 8).
