Who we are

We are a community of believers in Christ who meet together as the Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd in Massey, Waitakere. Our desire is to proclaim the Kingdom of God and make disciples of Jesus Christ. We extend a warm and welcome invitation to anyone who wishes to discover more about the Christian faith, develop a relationship with Jesus and share in the friendship and fellowship we enjoy together.

We have a number of active ministries that are designed to reach out to the community around us, including a Food Bank, Healing Clinics and Selwyn Centre. Click here for more information on these and our other community ministries.

We are also committed to helping people of all ages feel connected, through Home Groups, Youth Groups, Children’s Ministry, Alpha courses and other groups, courses and events. Find out more about these here.

Church of the Good Shepherd Massey Service Times

Sunday 9am
A worship service with Holy Communion. After communion, our children’s programme JAM (Jesus and Me) runs for school age children through to Year 8. Morning tea is shared after the service.

Sunday 11am
This is an informal praise and worship service with our children's programme JAM (Jesus and Me). Each Sunday we have either communion or a coffee break during the service. Morning tea is also shared before the service at 10.30am.

Sunday 7pm
A gathering for worship, teaching and ministry.

Wednesday 10am
A traditional worship service with Holy Communion that uses liturgy from the NZ Anglican Prayer Book. Morning tea follows the service.
