Clarkleigh United Church in Ashern, Manitoba is a Christian congregation serving the Ashern community and seeking, engaging, and encouraging others through a life-changing Christian journey.

Clarkleigh United Church History
The predecessor of Clarkleigh United Church, in Clarkleigh, Manitoba which is located in the Rural Municipality of Coldwell, was Seamo Presbyterian Church. It appears that Seamo Presbyterian Church evolved into Clarleigh United Church in 1925, though the exact date of the name change from Seamo to Clarkleigh is somewhat unclear. The Seamo Presbyterian Church, which became Clarkleigh United Church, was built in 1894 and was utilized for close to seventy years. Clarkleigh United Church joined Eriksdale United Church and Ashern United Church in the Southwest Interlake Pastoral Charge in 1961. In 1963, the former Windermere Church structure was moved from Winnipeg to Clarkleigh, and the original Seamo Church structure became a private residence. At the time of description, Clarkleigh United Church remains part of the Southwest Interlake Pastoral charge in Selkirk Presbytery.
