Who we are
Cornerstone Church ( formally Gospel Hall Evangelical Church ) has been serving the people of Bridlington for over 70 years , we are a family church providing activities for all ages and everyone is welcome. Our Sunday morning service is warm and friendly, we enjoy modern worship songs and some of the more traditional hymns. Our emphasis is on practical Bible based ministry that seeks to build the church and make disciples.
We are committed to reaching out into our community with the good news of Jesus in a variety of ways, to enable young and old alike, to come into a living relationship with Jesus Christ, to discover the reality of forgiveness and the power to live a new life that brings glory to God.
What we believe.
We believe in the God who created heaven and earth, who exists as God the Father, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit, and that the Bible is the true and inspired word of God. We believe that God created us to love and glorify him and to demonstrate our love for each other.
We believe that salvation and a relationship with God is based on his grace, a belief that Jesus Christ died in order to save us from our sins. We believe that we should share the good news of salvation with all those who do not know it.
We believe that when we die our souls will continue in eternity, in communion with him if we have accepted Christ and what he has done for us.

A fun-filled, action packed evening of stories, songs, games and quizzes for primary aged children. Bible stories are applied to life issues.

We run a thriving 'Tots and Co' meeting every Friday afternoon for mums, dads and carers with children of pre-school age, from 1-30pm until 3-00pm. This is a great opportunity to meet and chat with other parents and carers and let your children enjoy play both indoors and also on our all weather outdoor play area, we also have a structured time of crafts, singing and story times. Refreshments are provided in the church coffee lounge. There is no charge for this group we operate on a donation basis.
On Friday evening we run our 'Kids Club' for the 6 - 10 year olds. This is a fun filled action packed evening of songs, stories, games and quizzes. A key part of the programme is a Bible story which is then applied to life issues.
