Who we are
Covenant CRC: Following Jesus Together
Our name reflects our commitment to belonging, first to God, and then to each other. Covenant CRC is a community committed to learning how to follow Jesus, together. We have a variety of ministries and programs to help us obey Jesus’ command to go and make disciples, and to help nurture and grow us in faith. At Covenant CRC, what’s most important is our relationship to God and to each other. Come and see: this is a place to belong!
Vision and Mission at Covenant CRC
Our Vision:
Covenant Christian Reformed Church will be an enthusiastic, committed, unified body of believers living Christ-like lives, which, through the Holy Spirit, regularly draws people to commit themselves to a personal relationship with God.
Our Mission:
We believe in the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We are called to:
Worship God
Love others with a Christ-like love.
Nurture growth to a spiritual maturity.
Reach out with the Good News.
Serve God wherever He calls us.

Quote of the Day
Hebrews 10:25
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Covenant CRC History
Our Heritage
Our church began in the late 1970's when a group of our charter members thought that West End Christian Refomed Church was becoming too large. Covenant had its inaugural service on October 21, 1979 and the congregation met in Trinity United Church adjacent to the Meadowlark Mall. We continued to meet there until 2001 when we constructed our own facilities on 87th Avenue on the western edge of the city. Today Covenant consists of over 400 individuals.
