Delmont UMC Severn Service Times
Delmont is a church where everyone knows one another, yet it is cordially welcoming to all visitors. It seats only 88 in the congregation. Many parishioners come from the immediate neighborhood while others come some distance for its close Christian atmosphere. Children are given a wide variety of ways to participte in the life of the church. A praying church, we also use e-mail and a telephone tree to communicate our joys and concerns. Christian service is a main focus. We support a food, clothing, and furniture ministry, the North Arundel Homeless shelter, a variety of ad hoc off-site ministries including a short term medical mission for young women with birth trauma injury in Niamey, Niger.
