The Purpose of First Baptist Church is to bring glory to God
by revealing His redemptive love.
The Mission of First Baptist Church is to Make Disciples: Leading them to faith; Teaching them to grow; and Equipping them to serve Jesus Christ our Lord.
The Vision of First Baptist Church is to become One Body,
fully surrendered to Jesus Christ.
WHAT WE VALUE
We love God, and honor Him as He is revealed to us as
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
God the Father gave His Son Jesus Christ to save us, and His Holy Spirit to dwell in us personally.
(1 Peter 1:3; John 14:16-17)
We love God’s Word, and honor it that we might know Him,
and know how to live for Him.
In God’s Word we see His redemptive plan for mankind, and His perfect standard of living for His people. (John 3:16; 2 Timothy 3:16-17)
We love the People of God and honor one another in Christ Jesus.
As God’s people we are called to join together in prayer, worship, fellowship, discipleship, and ministry. (Acts 2:42-47)
We love and honor the People God allows us to reach for Him.
As God’s people we understand that He has called us to share His redemptive love
with those who do not know Him. (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8)
