Children and Youth Activities

Under 12s:
Children's Ministry

TeamKID:
Wednesday Evenings, 5:30-7:30
Kindergarten-4th grade

TeamKID is designed for children to learn, understand and apply scripture to their lives. Every part of TeamKID, from the games to the Bible story, the memory verse and even the refreshments all focus on one Bible message. The TeamKID motto is simple: "Learning about God, Using the Bible, Living for Jesus." It's our hope and desire to help kids in each of these three vital areas! Bring your kids and encourage them to be inviting their friends to join us!

QUEST:
Wednesday Evenings, 5:30-7:30
5th-6th Grade Students

Quest is our preteen ministry, which meets every Wednesday night from 5:30-7:30. We recognize that 5th and 6th grade is among the most confusing and difficult transitions for children, as they begin to journey into their teenage years. That's why we have this ministry specifically for them! This ministry is lead by Larry Saine and Paul Norris.

Sunday School:
Sunday Mornings, 9:30-10:30

Our kids are excited each Sunday Morning to attend one of two classes!
K-2 Grade Class: This class is led by Jeremiah and Noelle Terrell. They are focusing on how children can have both a deep and growing relationship with Jesus.
3rd-5th Grade Class: This class is led by Margie Lee. This class is learning how to connect to God's Word and how to apply what they've learned to their lives.
Both classes learn through a variety of Bible teaching, games, videos and even music.

Yearly Events:

Each summer, children from our church and community join together for a week-long event called VBS. Our VBS focuses on age appropriate biblical teaching, fun activities, music, crafts and recreation time. Check back soon for the dates of our next VBS!

Under 18s:
Youth Ministry

Our student ministry is focused on helping teens to know and to love Jesus, and on equipping them to live for Him! We meet twice each week throughout the school year and have several special events and meetings throughout the year. The best way to stay up-to-date with all the latest is to get plugged in to one of our groups! You can also view our Fall/Winter 2017 newsletter by clicking here.

Wednesday Night Youth Group: 5:30-7:30 (September-May)

Our Wednesday Night ministry begins at 5:30pm with a hot meal for all kids, students and leaders. After dinner, we make our way to our youth floor where we make it a priority to do three things every Wednesday: (1) Worship Jesus (2) Learn about Jesus from the Bible (3) Pray to Jesus. Our night includes large group worship, a large group message, small group discussions and prayer.

Sunday Morning Sunday School: 9:30-10:30

Our Sunday School group includes all students between 6th-12th grade. Our Sunday School class focuses on teaching the Bible to students and group prayer. Our Sunday School teacher is Larry Saine.

Quest: Preteen Ministry for 5th-6th Grade Students (September-May)

Quest is our preteen ministry, which meets every Wednesday night from 5:30-7:30. We recognize that 5th and 6th grade can be a confusing and difficult transition as children begin the journey into their teen years. That's why we have this ministry specifically for them! This ministry is lead by Larry Saine.
