Altamont FBC is a vibrant and loving church family. We are seeking to glorify God and bring the gospel of Jesus Christ in this community and to the ends of the earth.
We do these by growing stronger through worship, warmer through fellowship, deeper through discipleship, broader through ministry, and larger through evangelism.
The Word of God is preached with expositional intentionally through whole books. We encourage holiness and love through the five sola's of the Reformation. Come and see a body of Christ that takes the Bible seriously and seeks to adhere our lives to its every word.

Pastor Bill Weaver came to Altamont in February 2018. He received his Masters of Divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2017. He served as a pastoral intern for 3 years at Lakeview Baptist Church in Auburn, Alabama. Prior to that, Pastor Bill served 25 years in the U.S. Air Force. He retired in 2012. God called Bill and his wife Angie to full time pastoral ministry after his retirement.
Pastor Bill and his wife, Angie, have been married over 30 years and have 5 children, Jonathan, Lydia, Bethany, Serena, and Alice’, and 3 grandchildren, Silas, Corrie Rose, and Jackson. They met while attending college at Auburn University. They have served together in 12 churches over the years. They would love to meet you and get to know you.
