Our Pastor Kris Bair is a Commissioned Pastor in the PC(USA), having served a yoked parish of United Methodists and Presbyterians for nine years in Wilson, Kansas. A schoolteacher for 23 years prior to her call there, she taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in a three-room elementary school in North Dakota, where she also acted as principal; grades 6-12 English in ND and KS; and college English at Ft. Hays State U (KS).
She has served as moderator of the Presbytery of Northern KS, has led a variety of presbytery committees, and has been a commissioner to General Assembly twice. She and her retired husband moved to Corpus Christi, and she commutes to Alice to serve this congregation.
