First Presbyterian Church is a joyful, growing, mission-oriented community that can be summed up in the worlds of John Chrysostom (374 A.D. - 407 A.D.):
"In essentials, unity. In non-essentials, charity. In all things, Jesus Christ." We take a high view of scripture and pursue incorporation of the arts into worship. We confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and seek to love our neighbors through hands-on mission in our community. People have commented that they find our church to be a unique combination of gracious freedom and passion for the gospel. We offer two very different worship experiences - a traditional service (see www.fpcambler.org) and a contemporary/alternative/deep church service (see www.SouthRidgeWorship.com). Our commitment to Children's ministries and Youth Ministries are backed by full time directors for each of these programs. We encourage you to explore our websites and then join us for worship!
