Welcome to First Presbyterian Church Mountain View
As a community of Christian believers we would like to welcome you to our church and let you know that no matter where you are in your walk with Christ, you are welcome here. Our goal is simple. We want to be God’s instruments and help make this a better world for all of God’s creation. We are dedicated to using our gifts and talents to improve ourselves, our community, and share the love of God throughout Mountain View.

The Rev. Tim Boyer (Pastor Tim) joined the church staff in the fall of 2009. Called to the ministry through a true sense of “God’s Call”, Pastor Tim first served at the Presbyterian Church of San Luis Obispo (7 years) as a youth pastor before receiving his Masters of Divinity at San Francisco Theological Seminary. He was ordained in 1990. He also served at Petaluma Presbyterian (6 years) and Redlands Presbyterian (14 years).
Pastor Tim and wife Laura have been married over 35 years. Their family includes a son, daughter, son-in-law, and a grandson. In addition to spending time with family and friends, Pastor Tim’s favorite activities outside of ministry are opportunities to gather inspiration from nature by hiking, golfing, basketball and exploring the Lake Tahoe area.

Join us Sundays at 10 am.
Our worship service is at 10:00 am on Sundays. At worship we gather to hear the gospel proclaimed and participate in God’s mission to the world. It is a time of spiritual renewal, personal growth, and fellowship; a celebration of a family of faith. Our worship offers a variety of worship styles with a multi-generational service.
Childcare is available for toddlers and infants, if you prefer. Your child may be checked in at Shepherd’s Village nursery where trained caregivers provide age appropriate play and care.
