The vision for the Youth Ministry is to offer the students of GSHAC a better understanding of the word of God, which is the Truth so that they can take the great commission (Mat 28:18-20) and make it an everyday life mission. Our goal is to respond to the social and spiritual needs of our students by providing programs, activities, and events that will allow them to express their faith through their own words and actions. We welcome all students between the ages 12-17!
We have decided to brand ourselves as THE PACK. This is a name that is true to the mission statement of the youth ministry which is to “ Unite the youth in deepening their relationship with Jesus Christ.” As a pack, we will operate as a unit and will care about the spiritual as well as the natural wellbeing of the members of our pack. The wolf usually roams in multiples and are rarely seen alone. They are an animal that truly believes in unity and the strength in numbers. As our youth is dealing with the stresses of today, it is important for them to know that they are not alone and that they will always hold a place in THE PACK. And as we go along in the PACK, we want to invite people to join the PACK. We are a missionary group, and we seek to bring more people in.
Join Us on Friday Nights! Youth Ministry meets every Friday Night at 7:30 PM in the Youth Lounge.
Here, students can freely express themselves and fellowship with their peers in our Friday Night conversations.
It is an opportunity to connect with others and commune with God.
