Leader Bio:
Rev. Sheri Fry is thrilled to be the Pastor at Good Shepherd. Sheri has been serving Good Shepherd for three years. She deeply appreciates this community of faith and the ministries they are involved with. She received a Master of Divinity from Iliff School of Theology in Denver. She also serves as the Moderator of the Ministry Relations Committee at the Presbytery of Denver and serves on the Journey With Migrants Committee .
Sheri believes the Church is a community of transformation; one that deepens your internal spiritual journey and one that also reaches out into the community. Sheri very much enjoys the mission and ministry that happens in the church on a daily basis and the relationships that are cultivated and deepened and we journey together. Sheri is the mother of three adult children and so far the grandmother of 4 wonderful furries...two dogs and two cats!

The Good Shepherd Food Pantry
Food Pantry Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, and the Third Saturday of each month from 9 am - 11:30 am
Good Shepherd Food Pantry is a local community food distribution center that was established in 1977. It is located in Northglenn, CO and serves residents throughout the North Metro area. Since its inception, our Pantry has relied on the generosity of its donors to keep our doors open, which has allowed us to serve thousands of families over the years, and over 500 clients each month.
We are a Food Bank of the Rockies Food Partner. This means that we can purchase nutritious food cheaper through the Food Bank of the Rockies.
We also receive TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) food and can distribute it to our eligible clients. Our mission is to cultivate a more equitable food pantry for our community members. We do this by accessing healthy and culturally responsive foods, in conjunction with our food partners.
In addition to our Food Pantry Director, the Pantry is staffed entirely by volunteers.
In addition, we have implemented programs based on our clients' current needs. We started Backpacks (bags) for the Unhoused Program in 2022.
Another program offered is free English Language Development (ESL) classes.
We strive to be a safe, welcoming environment, which offers nutritious food, resource information, and hope.
Location: Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, 10785 Melody Drive, Northglenn, CO.
The Food Pantry is on the lower level of the building. You can park in the church lot and come down the stairs, or the handicap accessible ramp, on the right (south) side of the building, and enter through the doors on the left.
Note: If local schools are closed due to heavy snow, the Food Pantry will be closed as well.
