Jonathan has always been a big Cleveland fan, and he's grateful to be living and serving in his hometown! Following pastorates in Nyack, NY, and Piscataway, NJ, Jonathan returned to Grace in 1998 to become Senior Pastor. He invests the bulk of his ministry time teaching God's Word, casting vision, and leading the staff team at Grace. The sixth of nine children, Jonathan credits his parents as the primary influences in his spiritual formation; their integrity, example, and prayers were a huge gift.

The aim of Jonathan’s life is simply this: "Growing in my love for the Lord Jesus and for people who matter so much to Him…here and around the world." Following graduation from Midpark High School (1982), Jonathan completed studies at Capernway Bible School (certificate), Columbia International University (B.A., M.A), Alliance Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (D.Min). He also serves on a leadership team with The Christian & Missionary Alliance (CMA), our church’s denomination. Jonathan and Mary love doing life and ministry together and are grateful for the time they get to enjoy with their children: Lauren & Brad, Nathan, Joy, Anna, and Andrew.
