곽철환 전도사가 서울 구로중앙교회(담임목사 곽전태)의 후원아래 Eun Gang Korean Wesleyan Methodist Church 라는 이름으로
Whittier Wesleyan Methodist Church에서 약 15명이 모여 첫 예배를 드리다.
1985년 2월 3일
미국연합감리교회에 가입, Lakewood First UMC로 이전, The Korean
Ministry of Lakewood First UMC가 되었고 편의상 은강한인연합감리교회라 칭함
