Who we are
Opened Up and Opened Out
If you want a sentence that describes what we makes us tick as a Church community this is it. As individuals and together we want to be ‘opened up’ to God and ‘opened out’ to others. Jesus said to his followers ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind, and love your neighbour as yourself’ (Mark 10.27). That’s in essence what ‘opened up opened out’ means. It is two parts of the same thing - we believe that when you are opened up to God you are also opened out to others.
At Holy Trinity we want to live life for God, to surrender ourselves to him, and let God set the agenda. But we also long for our Christian faith to flow out into all areas of our life. As a church we are working out our calling to be opened up and opened out through three major priorities:
1) Offering attractive Jesus-focussed worship;
2) Developing confident biblical discipleship;
3) Pursuing creative Spirit-led mission opportunities.
We would love you to join us on our journey of being opened up to God and opened out to others...

Holy Trinity Church Newcastle Upon Tyne Service Times
On Sundays we meet at 11.00am and 6.30pm to worship God, learn together from the Bible, and pray for the world.
Our worship is informal and lively with a mix of contemporary songs and traditional hymns, usually led by a band of musicians and singers. Preaching from the Bible is a key part of our worship time together.
During morning services there are age appropriate activities for children and young people from 2 to 14 years where they learn together from the Bible thanks to our brilliant volunteers who support this work; we also offer a creche space for children and babies under 2 years and their parents or carers.
Evening worship can often be quieter and more reflective than our morning worship and it is often a space we use creatively to engage with God.
