Who we are
Holy Trinity Church in Wallington is a parish church of the Church of England. We are a diverse church and try to make all people feel welcome.
Whether you have been a Christian for years or you are just exploring what the Christian faith is all about, there is a place for you here.
At the heart of Holy Trinity is the belief that the Lord Jesus is alive and that as we meet him we are changed. Healing love and hope begin to replace fear and self-preoccupation.
Each of our four Sunday services has a distinct style but with a focus on bible teaching. We have a thriving young people’s ministry with staff leaders and we are active midweek in various groups and ministries for all ages.
Our church is involved in various community groups and schools work, particularly Holy Trinity Junior School. We also support several mission partners who work both in the UK and abroad.

Holy Trinity Wallington Wallington Service Times
EASTER 2016 SERVICES
Maundy Thursday – 8pm, 24th March
Good Friday – 9.30am & 1.30pm, 25th March
Easter Sunday – 8am & 10.30am, 27th March
Regular Main Sunday Services
10.30am – Morning Service
A broad range of people make up the 10.30 gathering including children and families. Each Sunday we have teaching from the Bible, praise God in song and speak to him in prayer. Once a month we also receive the bread and wine as we share in Holy Communion. Children and young people join us for the beginning of the service, and then they head out to creche, children’s or youth groups for great bible teaching and plenty of fun.
6.00pm - The Evening Service
The evening service will take a break over Easter and start back on 10th April. An informal contemporary service, with more time for music and applied bible teaching. Every term we have invitation services, aiming to help non-Christians understand the Christian faith by dealing with topics like, how do we know the bible is trustworthy? We meet in the Trinity Centre, next to the church, where there are sofas and refreshments. It is a good place to meet people, particularly our younger adults.
Traditional Sunday Services
8.00am – Service
This service is centred on the more traditional liturgy of the Church of England. A short sermon is preached and there is always a caring buzz of conversations afterwards. Communion is on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sunday of every month; Morning Prayer on the 1st and the 3rd.
4.00pm – Service & Tea
A small service held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. We gather to hear God’s word, pray and praise using the traditional Book of Common Prayer liturgy. An afternoon tea is available afterwards with lively and up-building conversations.
Midweek Wednesday Service
9am – Morning Prayer
Meeting in the church at 9am on Wednesday morning, we hold a small traditional Morning Prayer Service with shared reflections and prayers.

Youth
There is lots of youth activities to get involved with at Holy Trinity. New people are always welcome.
Pathfinders
Pathfinders is our group for ages 11-13, which meets in Jasper every Sunday morning during the 10.30am service. We spend time looking into the bible together, meeting with our friends, playing games and enjoying snacks. Once or twice a term we’ll gather with the older youth for a social event.
Discipleship Days (D:Days)
This year we are planning three ‘D:Days’ where we will take a day out to spend together, have fun, and consider a topic or theme relevant to young life, and see what the bible has to say and teach on it. We are praying that these days will encourage our youth to know what it is to live for Jesus.
Do make sure you join us!
D:Day 1 – ‘Sorted,’ by Capital Youthworks at Westminster Chapel, Saturday 14th November 2015
Check out all the talks from this year’s Sorted online
D:Day 2 – “Sex and Relationships,” Saturday 20th February, 2016
D:Day 3 – “Anxiety, Worry and Depression,” Saturday 4th June, 2016
Pulse
Pulse meets in the Vicarage every Sunday morning during the 10.30am service and is for ages 14-18. As a group we’ll study the bible together, perhaps spending time in a particular book, or thinking on a relevant topic such as, how Christians should use social media. We spend time enjoying discussion, playing games and munching the occasional bacon roll! Once or twice a term we’ll gather with the rest of the youth for a social event.
Charged
Charged is our monthly youth group for 11-16s. We gather together for fun. Get the opportunity to engage with the Christian faith and the good news about Jesus Christ. Grow our friendships and in faith – and then go and tell our friends all about it! A great opportunity to bring friends, enjoy spending some time chilling out, and a super relaxed and welcoming place to engage with and consider the claims of Jesus… You may even get the chance to do a bit of cooking too!! Our next two meetings are on:
Saturday 16th January, 7-9pm at the Trinity Centre
Saturday 6th February, 7-9pm at the Trinity Centre
