Who we are
What We Believe
We believe that there is one God manifest in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is God manifest in flesh. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on Calvary's cross to pay our sin debt in full, and rose bodily from the grave for our justification.
We believe in salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ.
We believe that He will return physically to earth to establish His kingdom and His return is imminent.
Vision Statement
To develop Great Commission Christians, involved in community transformation and ongoing Biblical education, in partnership with believers from other ethnic groups, developing sustainable ministries and ongoing coaching and mentoring relationships.

Hope Alliance Bible Church History
History
Hope Alliance Bible Church (HABC) began as a Christian and Missionary Alliance church plant in October of 1995, under the leadership of Rev. Ronald J. Morrison. The church planting pastor left a high paying factory job he held for twenty-one years, and started two home Bible study groups that would form the core group for a church plant. Less than four months after the first Bible study was held, the doors were opened for the first public services.
After sharing a Baptist church building for sixteen months and being relegated to holding services on Sunday afternoons, HABC was blessed to obtain property in Maple Heights. It was nothing short of miraculous for a group of about 50 people, who had only been together for less than a year and a half, to acquire a $250,000 facility that included a small home behind the primary building. The acquisition was a Slovenian Party Hall that had for many years been the headquarters for drinking and dancing, receptions and revelries, but had lost significant membership as ethnic diversity took over the neighborhood. This was a huge acquisition for a fledgling church to acquire such an asset in a neighborhood where the average home would have been valued at around $75,000.
Over the years, HABC has been acquiring properties adjacent to its building to fulfill its God-given vision to develop and transform its surrounding community. Empty homes were purchased to allow members to live in them and serve the community by their presence. Those homes will soon be leveled to provide additional building space and parking for the many other ministries and services that will be housed in the new building. Our goal is to provide onsite the needed spiritual growth opportunities (HABC, Moody Bible Institute, Trivium Institute for Leader Development Bible college, and Alliance Theological Seminary classes) and the Community Development services provided by Alliance for Family Hope (see the website for a description of services provided).
