Hope Church is an authentic intergenerational community in which people can connect to Jesus and each other through worship, inspiring teaching from God’s word and genuine relationships.

Pastors Julie and Shelby are the Lead Pastors of Hope Church and have been married 22 years. They have three children, Anna, Chloe and Samuel and two fur babies, their dogs Jett and Sophia. Both grew up in the church and sensed a call to the ministry as young adults. They met at college while training for ministry. Pastor Julie loves to travel, and read. She is particularly known for her love of coffee and Christmas. Pastor Shelby is keen on listening to audio books, especially spy novels, and enjoys a good game of golf.
Pastor Julie has a BA in Biblical Studies and Church Music and an MA in Practical Theology. Pastor Shelby has a BA in Biblical Studies and an MBA in Business Administration and Non-Profit Management.
In addition to Hope Church, Pastor Shelby serves as the Finance Director for the Ohio Ministry Network. Pastor Julie travels as a Family Ministry specialist, working with churches and ministries to reframe their ministry to families. Both are credentialed ministers with the Assemblies of God.
