Who we are
As a church, our goal is to reach those who are disconnected from God, care for those who are hurting and develop fully mature followers of Christ. We hope that through the ministry of Hope Church, MORE people will give church a chance....and thus find the transformational and life giving grace and mercy of God. It is our heart to be another one of the many churches in Albert Lea that are teaching the life changing HOPE of Jesus Christ!

Pastor Kaleb was given a vision for Hope Church two years before the doors opened and the dream became a reality. He has given many years to the call of God to raise up this body of believers and continues to pour himself out to do so. Pastor Kaleb boldly proclaims the word of God, while building genuine relationships with a desire for ALL people to experience the Lord’s transformation; like his own has been transformed.
Pastor Kaleb was raised up by a discipleship training school and then served as a leader for the program for several years, followed by serving as a Worship & Young Adults Pastor before planting Hope Church. He is supported by his partner in ministry and wife Kristy, their son and twin girls. “PK” especially enjoys traveling, date-nights, watching football and connecting with people over a good cup of coffee.

Hope Church of Albert Lea History
Hope Church is birthed out of a vision to reach more people for Jesus Christ! We are a church plant sent out by Crossroads Church of Albert Lea to do exactly that: Reach More People. Pastor Kaleb Hurley was an Associate Pastor at Crossroads Church for 5 years, before he was released to lead the way in launching Hope Church. After much prayer and preparation, Pastor Kaleb and a team of 44 individuals (& their kids) officially launched Hope Church on September 14th, 2014.
Over the past 9 years Hope Church has actively participated in the community. You will find us in the 3rd of July Parade, traveling with our GoChurch trailer, or holding various outreach events to be a blessing! We have a vision for reaching the lost in this region.
After 8 years of setting-up and tearing-down church every week in a rented facility, we held our Grand Opening of our old-made-new facility on the corner of Main Street and Broadway in downtown Albert Lea on Easter Sunday 2023. While transforming two old downtown buildings into one beautiful church had many challenges, God's favor and blessing is evident through the whole process. We are blessed to have a 3 level 15,000 square foot facility for more ministry to happen in!
