Who we are
The House Of Worship had its beginnings in 2003. And through prayer and the prophetic ministry of Australian and international Pastors, the foundations were laid for what would one day become the House Of Worship – Full Gospel Church.
What is a Full Gospel Church? Put simply, it’s a way of describing a Pentecostal church. A church which believes in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, spiritual gifts and divine healing, and also holds the truths that Christ is Savior, Sanctifier, Healer and soon coming King at its core.
Through His divine plans and purposes, Our Lord set in place all that was necessary for a new church to be birthed. A Pastor, Leadership, devoted and talented Christians, and a venue. And all according to His perfect timing and will.
House of Worship was founded in August 2003, and commenced Sunday service’s under the leadership of Pastor Ron Shunker. A Christian Pentecostal, family based church.
From that modest start, the House Of Worship has developed. And to the glory of God, we have seen many baptism’s, dedication’s, salvation’s and healing’s.
The House Of Worship actively supports ministries in Australia, the Philippines and India, and has hosted pastors from Australia, India, New Zealand, Samoa, South Africa and the United States. People have been blessed, and lives changed through the dynamic preaching of the Word of God, and the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Although it is important for us to understand, appreciate and give thanks to God for what he has done in the past, the House Of Worship is a forward looking church. Not dwelling in what was, but acknowledging Gods’ provision, and living in faith for what is to come through the grace of God.
For, “The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.”, and knowing that, we are excited by what the Lord will do in and through the House Of Worship, and in the lives of its members.
