Virgilio G. and Maria Del Carmen are honored and humbled to answer the call to ministry at Emmanuel Church and to be part of Emmanuel Church Ministry since 1996. In their Christian life, they have worked for over 25 years under three different Pastors and love serving others and the Lord. They married on December 15, 1984 and are blessed to have five wonderful children.
Virgilio was born in Panama and came to know the Lord Jesus Christ in 1980 as he fell in love with Jesus at Second Spanish Baptist Church, New York. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Latino Studies from Columbia University. He attended New York Theological Seminary and earned a Christian Ministry Certification. He currently works as a Financial Analyst at Columbia University.
Maria Del Carmen was born in Salinas, Puerto Rico and in 1983 encountered a personal relationship with Jesus Christ at Second Spanish Baptist Church, New York. She earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Orange Community College. She serves the Middletown community as a Home School Liaison for the Bilingual/ENL & World Languages Department, District translator and Home Instructor.
Virgilio and Maria desire is that you would realize your purpose in Christ as you take this exciting journey of life together with Emmanuel Church family. They pray that you would experience life to its fullest at Emmanuel Church as they work to present the message of Jesus in an authentic, practical way. Along with the wonderful staff, leaders, and the people of Emmanuel Church, we invite you to join us every Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm to experience God in a very special way!
